DYWIDAG’s work on Berlin’s S-Bahn started in the 1920s, continued into the new millennium on the upgrade and expansion project of both the inner-city and commuter rail systems. 

We were specifically working on the installation of Micropiles in order to secure the excavation at Lehrter Bahnhof. 

The installation and tightening of the anchor head was conducted under water with a satellite controlled robot specifically developed for this project.
